Make sense of referral claims

The code name is not the discount.

A code that sounds like a discount is still just a code. The benefit comes from the app’s program terms, not from the words in the referral field.

Check the claim, not the handle.

Claims such as “100% off trading fees” need evidence from the platform. A valid referral code can still be advertised with an inaccurate fee claim. This page evaluates claims; it does not label a person’s code as fraudulent.

I have not reproduced lists of other codes from the original brief because the underlying evidence for those allegations was not supplied.

Pump.fun: what the source supports.

The standard published referral benefit described in this guide is 0.40% platform fee. The fee source is Pump.fun fees.

The platform fee is only part of a trade’s cost. A reduction in that fee does not remove protocol, creator, pool or network fees.

See the Pump.fun code, source status and fee details →

Axiom: what the source supports.

The standard published referral benefit described in this guide is 10% off trading fees. The fee source is Axiom referral program.

Referrer commission is different from the discount received by the trader. A larger revenue-share percentage is not evidence of a larger user discount.

Fomo: what the source supports.

The standard published referral benefit described in this guide is 0.45% standard trading fee. The fee source is Fomo trading fees.

The standard percentage is not the whole story for small Solana trades. Route minimums and reduced-fee tokens need separate consideration.

Check before confirming a trade.

  1. Read the app’s fee page and the specific referral terms.
  2. Check whether the quoted reduction applies to the trading fee, a platform fee or the whole transaction.
  3. Look at the fee breakdown in the app before confirming.
  4. Account for minimums, network costs, product restrictions and any separate promotions.
  5. If the benefit is unclear, ask the app’s support team before relying on it.
